This Door and Window Sensor uses 1 CR2032 coin cell battery that will generally last 35 years. Remove the outer cover of the the transmitter (larger piece) from the base using a small flathead screwdriver. Slide the battery out of the compartment and replace it with the new battery. The battery is installed positive side up.
