26/4/2020· If there is a piece of dust the blower does not dislodge I use a lens pen and dislodge the dust, then blow it away. It that doesn’t work (rare) I use a silicon gel sticky wand. I only wet clean if it is oil or the dust leaves a residual. You don’t need wet cleaning to get rid of dust, however the other systems will not get rid of oil or stains.

The spot that really bothers me the most is the one that travels across her chest at 5 seconds in, then travels across the grass, and then finally travels across his face at 33 seconds.

8/5/2018· Obviously you must have a clean work area and minimize any dust by thoroughly cleaning before starting the teardown. When putting the sensor back on, make sure you put the little springs back first then gently lay the sensor back on top and screw it down using same torque as noted earlier. So now that your preset is made, you can use this preset over and over again because your sensor dust is going to be in the same location on your sensor no matter if you’re shooting portrait or landscape or whatever.

28/11/2016· Remove the lens, expose the sensor, hold the camera facing down (so dust can fall out), and blow a few puffs of air at the sensor to dislodge any dust. If you have a DSLR, you''ll need to activate "sensor cleaning mode" to lock the mirror up and the shutter open. This takes care of 50% of my dust.

To get started, locate one image in the sequence that has sensor dust issues. Switch to Develop move and select the Spot Removal tool. Set it to Heal (the other option is Clone). Set the brush size to something large enough to cover the problem area and set its Opacity to 100 percent. Click on the dust to set the location for the fix.
