sensor, or thermostat: • Mount the sensor on an interior wall where it is easily accessible, at least m (55 in.) above the floor, in an area where the temperature is representative of the entire controlled space. • Avoid enclosed or recessed locations and locations behind curtains, doors, or other obstructions to the controlled space.
A remote wireless sensor gives you additional temperature detection between multiple zones. Always know exactly what temperature it is in your building spaces anytime, any day. RT1DC. (battery powered) The RT1DC is powered by two AA batteries. This remote sensor is easily installed in a second location for temperature averaging or temperature ...
1/6/2011· Averaging I would think avering sensors would work best in areas where the room temp is only a few degrees different from one area to another. I was going to use them once on a steam system where there was a great deal of difference between 2 spaces, (it was an inn), and the guests were complaining.

Can a smart thermostat be installed as a wireless temperature sensor and added to an existing room? The only way I was able to do this was to register the smart thermostat and then call tado to move it to the correct room. When I register the smart thermostat is assigned direct to a new create room and cnnot be moved! Thank you
The Network Thermostat NTROOMS remote sensor is a surface mount remote sensor in a small surface mount case, designed to sense air temperature and/or humidity at remote locations when connected to an X7, X5, UP32 series thermostats or air temperature with a US32 flexible NTROOMS sensor can be used in several configurations including indoor temperature and

They communicate wirelessly to PIR occupancy sensors, door sensors, and optional second door/window sensors. After the receiver determines that the room is unoccupied, it closes a dry contact switch. After the thermostat or controller recognizes the contact closure, it places the thermostat in economy setback mode, which provides energy savings for when the room is …
20/3/2020· The Heatmiser Thimble Sensor is perfect for measuring the temperature in a room discreetly. Its small form factor means the sensor can be used in areas where the client wants no room thermostats mounted on the wall. The thimble sensor can be wired up to 20M from the room thermostats. Datasheet Download.
Wireless Sensor and Receiver Kits. The Wireless Occupancy Solution delivers comfort by combining a door switch with an occupancy sensor to assure that the thermostat won’t shift into setback mode when a room is occupied. And by triggering the setback mode when a room is unoccupied, you’ll save on heating and cooling costs.

11/5/2021· The first is simply a setting in a thermostat or control where it reads separate sensors, and then the thermostat itself averages out the readings using its software. For example, if the onboard sensor is being averaged with a remote sensor, it could look like this: Onboard Sensor = 78°. Remote Sensor = 82°. 78° + 82° = 160°.
